Shahid Bakeri Higher Education Center of Miandoab affiliated to Urmia University is the only fully state-owned higher education center affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in the south of West Azerbaijan Province. This center is one of the rare higher education centers in the country in terms of geographical location and physical space and has an area of about 80 hectares, more than 18,000 square meters of educational, research, cultural and student space with a capacity of more than 2,500 students. The Shahid Bakeri Higher Education Center of Miandoab currently accepts students in the following fields: 1- Production and operation of medicinal and aromatic plants (AS) 2- Horticultural Science and Engineering (BS) 3- Landscape Engineering (BS) 4- Promoting and educating sustainable agriculture (BS) 5- Horticultural Science and Engineering-Medicinal and aromatic plants (MSc)
The center currently has 13 official faculty members, whose brilliant activities have resulted in the publication of 235 articles in national and international journals and 253 articles in national and international conferences from 2012 to 2020. |
