The Department of Islamic Studies
The Department of Islamic Studies of Urmia University with 10 faculty members and 35 visiting professors is responsible for providing Islamic courses. It should be noted that the Department of Islamic Studies, in addition to offering about 260 units of Islamic courses at the undergraduate level, is also responsible for providing an optional course on introduction with the sacred defense. From the beginning of the 2017 academic year, with the approval of the Ministry of Science the field of Islamic Studies and Law has admitted graduate students in the fields of Islamic Studies and Law, oriented towards Family Law.
