The Registrar's Office of Urmia University serves as the custodian of student enrollment and academic records, coordinates course enrollment and registration, and manages the student information system. This office is also charged with finalizing and publicizing schedules and procedures related to enrollment, final exams, and course listings.


Registrar Office of Urmia University, partnering with students, faculty, and staff, strives to support institutional excellence, student access and success by maintaining the integrity of academic policies and official student educational records, with the highest standards of education.

This office provides these educational and administrative services to students, faculty, and staff in support of this mission:

  • Maintains students’ academic records
  • Ensures the impartial application of policies governing grading, registration, residency, and graduation
  • Schedules and publishes the academic and admission calendars
  • Schedules course timetables
  • Coordinates course registration
  • Maintains university curriculum and serves as the central office for the course approval process
  • Provides students’ academic transcripts
  • Maintains the student address and telephone directory
  • Monitors students’ academic progress
  • Provides the final degree review of graduates
  • Coordinates the distribution of undergraduate and graduate degrees
  • Advises students, faculty, staff, and the public on academic policies and procedures
