Department of Ecology and Resource Assessment

Research focuses on the ecology of aquatic systems, with special attention to behavioral ecology, community ecology, evolutionary ecology, population ecology and stress ecology. The department cooperates with other universities and faculties within the Urmia university especially faculty of natural resources.

- Biodiversity of large Branchiopods (Anostraca, Notostraca and Conchostraca) in Bazargan area, Maku, West Azerbaijan, Iran

- Reproductive isolation between Branchinecta orientalis (Crustacea, Anostraca) populations

- Morphometric and genetic differentiation between populations of Branchipodopsis affinis (Crustacea, Anostraca)

- The effects of feeding on the larval survivability, morphometric characteristics, and growth-related genes expression in Zebrafish- quality   control of rainbow trout by-product during storage
