In the Islamic tradition, the importance and necessity of explaining to the original principles of Islam and introduce people to the true teachings and sustainable cultural change in society is clear and obvious. And since the core of this movement and development, universities, therefore, the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution’s Mission sensitive groups, mainly Islamic Studies at the University of inputs to goals in the form of some courses, such as: Introduction to the theoretical foundations of the Islamic religion , Islamic ethics, sources revealed texts, Analytical History of Islam and the roots of the Islamic Revolution worth a total of 12 units to the public (required for all students in all disciplines dear), are realized. Now the Department of Islamic Studies at the University of Urmia 8 faculty members and 15 visiting professor is responsible for providing these courses.
