Department of Pathobiology

The Department of Pathobiology is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in veterinary parasitology and anatomical pathology. Department of Pathobiology established in 1975 under the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Urmia University. In 1996, the Department of Pathobiology was divided into two independent disciplines namely Department of microbiology, and Department of pathobiology.

Department of Theriogenology and Poultry Diseases

 The Department of “Theriogenology and Poultry” consist of “Veterinary Obstetrics and Genital diseases: Theriogenology” and “Poultry Health & Diseases” divisions. The Theriogenology division focused on reproductive management in males and females, treatment of genital diseases, management of parturition and dystocia in different animal species. Now, Dr. Esmael Ayen, Dr. Mohsen Eslami and Dr. Ali Soleimanzadeh are the academic staff of the division.
