International students of Urmia University hosted the servants of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (PBUH)

 

 During the ten-day Karamat (Literally: Dignity) celebrations and on the birthday anniversary of Imam Reza (PBUH), Urmia University hosted a delegation of the servants of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (PBUH) carrying the blessed flag of that holy shrine. The Karamat celebrations mark the ten days between the birth anniversaries of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) and Imam Reza (PBUH), the daughter and son of the 7th Shia Imam.

 

This cultural and religious event was planned and held on 19 May 2024 by the mutual collaboration of the international relations office of Urmia University and the Representative of the Office of the Supreme Leader of Iran at Urmia University.

 

This ceremony was attended by Hojjat al-Islam Wal-Muslimin Hassanzadeh, the cultural deputy of the Representative of the Office of the Supreme Leader of Iran, Mr. Dr. Ahmadi, the director of the international relations office, and a group of international students of Urmia University from different nationalities. The speaker of the ceremony Hojjat al-Islam Wal-Muslimin Mohammadi delivered his speech in Arabic to the students elaborating on the highlights of the life of Imam Reza (PBUH), the virtues of Imam, and his positions in different social and political situations. The ceremony continued with a welcome speech by two of the international students to the delegation and culminated with the eulogy of Imam Reza (PBUH) by the servants of his Holy Shrine.
