The second meeting of the cultural committee of the international students of Urmia University

The second meeting of the cultural committee of the international students of Urmia University was held on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at the international campus of Urmia University with the presence of the committee members.

At the beginning of this meeting, Dr. Javad Eshaghi Rad, director of the international campus of Urmia University, reported the status quo of the cultural activities and events for international students and explained the obstacles and implementation problems of these activities along with suggestions to tackle the issues. Hojjat al-Islam Wal-Muslimin Hassanzadeh, the cultural deputy of the Representative of the Office of the Supreme Leader of Iran, emphasized the necessity of organizing cultural activities for the international students of the university and expressed hope that these meetings will help to converge the aims and efforts of the committee members regarding the organization of these activities.

The meeting was finalized by organizing two cultural events for international students of Urmia University during June and July. A city tour for international students with the cooperation of the Cultural Heritage Organization to visit the monuments and tourist attractions of Urmia city from June 23 to June 30 followed by a 2-day visit from Aras Free Zone on 24th and 25th of July, 2024.
