The Urmia city tour of international students of Urmia University was organized by the International Scientific Collaborations Office of Urmia University on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
In this cultural event which was organized and planned in the second meeting of the cultural committee of the international students of Urmia University, First, the international students of the university visited the museum and interior area of  St. Mary Church. This Church dates back to the 1st century AD and belongs to the Sasanian era with an interior design that combines Sasanian and Arsacid architecture. The second historical monument visited by international students of Urmia University was Seh Gonbad Tomb Tower which belongs to the 12th century A.D. and was constructed by the order of one of the rulers of the Seljuq Dynasty. The visit was finalized by visiting Guller Baghi Botanical Park of Urmia City where international students had a free discussion Persian learning session with two of the Persian language professors of Urmia University.
