New Academic Year Message of The Chancellor

Dear and respected professors, students, and staff:

The coincidence of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (pbuh) with the beginning of the new academic year, promises new days and opportunities for studying science, carrying out research activities, development, and social-cultural interactions in the university.

The new academic year denotes a new beginning and an opportunity to achieve ambitious goals, and excellence is academics' scientific and spiritual advancement.

The directors and staff of Urmia University, like in previous years, have tried to create a suitable environment for studying by providing student services to support the scientific and cultural advancement of the students of Urmia University, with the aim of solving the problems of the society and industry while persisting in upholding the achievements of the university.

In conclusion, I extend my warmest welcome at the beginning of the new academic year to all pioneers of science and culture including respected professors, university staff, and students, especially the new students, who, with the help of continuous and scholarly efforts, have entered the sacred arena of the university. I offer my congratulations and I pray to the Almighty God for the prosperity of this world and the hereafter for all these dear ones.
